Dynamic yoga Introduction
This introduction course is suitable for the beginner and anyone new to a dynamic style of yoga. It prepares you for joining the ongoing Dynamic yoga classes at Yogashala. It is also an invitation to everyone to learn about yoga in general, and find out if it is suitable for you.
The course is based on our teaching method and the classes we offer. During three 90-minute classes you will be taught the basic principles and techniques of this exciting yoga method. A step-by-step approach is applied to offer time to practice and intellectual understanding.
You will experience an accessible and comprehensive learning method which encompasses the keys to safe and effective yoga posture, pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation practice. There will be time for embodiment through repetitive practice of series, postures and techniques. You’ll be well prepared to join and enjoy the ongoing Dynamic yoga classes that will hopefully meet your expectations!
Based on sensitivity, we will invite you to explore the postures within your own current capacity. The postures are suitable for the beginner student of yoga. As we work towards doing posture work in flow, you may already notice the effect that yoga can have on the body and mind, no matter how (in)experienced you are! We highly recommend non-Dutch speakers to focus on the English classes as yoga is a process that should be fully understood from within.
Depending on the registrations, the course can be taught in Dutch or English.
